Frequently Asked Questions

Individual Therapy

What kinds of clients do you work with?

I work primarily with creatives, but I see a wide range of clients across careers. Whatever concerns you’re bringing to therapy, I’m here to help you build resilience and work toward a life worth living.

Do I have to be a professional performer to work with you?

Not at all! I work with people at all stages of their creative journey — students, emerging artists, hobbyists, seasoned professionals, and anyone navigating their creative identity.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance at this time. I am an out-of-network provider and can provide you with monthly superbills to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

What are your fees for individual therapy?

My full fee is $225 per 45-minute session. I never want price to be an obstacle, so I also offer a sliding scale for folks who are not able to afford the full fee.

Workshops and Trainings

What topics do you cover in workshops?

My workshops are tailored to your group’s needs, so we can focus on what matters most to you.

For students and performers, common topics include self-care strategies, coping with difficult thoughts and emotions, values-based goal-setting, and de-roleing techniques. For educators and creative teams, sessions often explore boundaries and consent in artistic spaces, trauma-informed approaches to teaching and rehearsal, and ways to structure the creative process with performers’ wellbeing in mind.

How long are workshops, and how many people can attend?

Workshops typically run 2-3 hours, but can be adjusted to suit the unique needs of your group. Content is easily adaptable for both small groups and large cohorts, depending on your program or company.

Do you travel for workshops?

Yes! I’m based in NYC and can travel for in-person engagements. I also offer virtual workshops and trainings.

For Institutions

What does ongoing consultation include?

I provide strategic support around mental health initiatives, rehearsal and classroom practices, crisis response, and integrating wellness into your training culture or company structure. This support is tailored to your institution’s needs and may include phone calls, video sessions, or regular meetings with your creative team.

We already have counselors at our institution. How is this different?

My work as a consultant is not a replacement for therapy services. Individual therapy offers performers personalized support, while ongoing consultation focuses on helping institutions build sustainable, wellness-centered practices for their entire community.

General Questions

Can we book more than one service (e.g., a workshop and ongoing consultation)?

Absolutely! Many institutions start with a workshop and expand into longer-term consultation based on interest and need.

Do you offer custom packages or pricing for non-profits/schools?

I’m always happy to discuss budget-conscious options for mission-driven organizations.
